**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We're looking for a transformational leader to take charge of IAG’s Insurance Technology Ecosystem—a critical engine behind our platform transformation strategy. This executive role is all about enabling modern, simplified, and scalable SaaS-enabled platforms, while decommissioning outdated systems with speed, precision, and care.

You’ll be responsible for evolving our architectural strategy, accelerating engineering excellence, and owning key relationships with strategic partners and vendors. If you're passionate about tech transformation at scale and know how to bridge vision with delivery—you’ll thrive here.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Decommissioning Leadership**: Build and scale sustainable “self-service” decommissioning processes for retiring legacy tech
- using emerging tech.
- **Vendor & SaaS Partner Management**: Scale strategic relationships with leading SaaS vendors, aligning roadmaps and driving mutual value.
- **Engineering Capability**: Lead Quality Engineering and Assurance practices that support ecosystem excellence and innovation.
- **Team Empowerment**: Guide, coach, and grow a high-performing team across Australia, New Zealand, and offshore locations.
- **Cross-Functional Impact**: Collaborate with stakeholders across IAG, shaping how SaaS technology supports our customer experience.

This is a **permanent** role, and we welcome applicants from **Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland)**.

**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**
- Proven experience leading large-scale tech transformation and decommissioning initiatives
- Deep architectural knowledge of SaaS ecosystems and cloud strategy
- Expertise in building and executing scalable technology roadmaps
- Strong commercial acumen and vendor relationship management
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, influence at exec level, and drive results
- Experience working across Australia and New Zealand markets is a plus
