**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Define, develop and deploy hardware, firmware, and solution quality assurance strategy, addressing all phases of product development.
- Set quality assurance compliance objectives and ensure targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Ensure firmware and hardware have established and documented product quality requirements.
- Ensure firmware and hardware delivery has quantifiable quality requirements with set targets.
- Ensure quality release criteria for interim milestones and final releases are defined and agreed.
- Perform defect root cause analysis and make recommendations for improvement.
- Identify any bottlenecks, make a recommendation; execute tests; and tune the system.
- Communicate quality control information to all relevant departments.
- Review requirements, user cases, and user stories against set quality standards and provide feedback for improvement.
- Create and implement testing criteria or procedures; monitoring; inspection and qualify all new/existing hardware releases through creating end-to-end test cases, test plans, systems and procedures.
- Direct hardware testing activities throughout production cycles and oversees testing activities.
- Direct tracking of defects, test results, or other regular reported quality control data.
- Document testing procedures, methodologies, or criteria.
- Minimize bugs released to the field, and ensure maximum pick-up of issues in the field.
- Maintain proficiency in a wide range of technology products/ platforms and review processes to ensure established QA methods align with current trends.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be equipped with:

- Tertiary qualification in relevant field and/or equivalent significant, relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years’ of experience working with QA tools and processes; variety of different testing techniques
- 3+ years of experience manage, lead, coach and support teams to adhere to quality standards.
- 2+ years of experience working as automation engineer using Python.
- Displays sound business judgment and decision-making capability.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Relevant industry specific qualifications highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and challenge in a non-confrontational way.
- Passionate about for Quality and Quality improvement and have a desire to keep up to speed with the latest trends and methodologies
- Effective team player who is able to develop a positive culture; championing a team environment.
- Able to work with a diverse array of people; and build and maintain positive and constructive working relationships.
- Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable and achieve quality outcome for all stakeholders.
