**About the Role**

Are you ready to step up in your lifeguarding career and lead a Summer Pool facility in Lower Hutt?

We're looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and well-organised individuals to supervise our Summer Pool operations for the 2025/26 season, starting around **20 October 2025 to 20 March 2026** (dates may vary slightly).

This summer, we're not only opening our pools - we're creating a Summer of Fun. You'll have the opportunity to lead one of our summer pools (Wainuiomata Pool, McKenzie Baths, and Eastbourne Pool) and help deliver community events across our aquatic network.

**About You**

You're a confident leader who thrives in a team environment and believes in community-led development. You're passionate about continuous improvement and can communicate ideas clearly and respectfully to a range of stakeholders.

To be considered, you'll need:

- A current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- A valid First Aid Certificate
- A cover letter outlining your lifeguarding experience and the strengths you'd bring to this role

You'll inspire your team with a shared vision for our community and facilities, and work collaboratively with Council colleagues, management, external organisations, and community groups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lifeguard ready to take on a more varied role involving people leadership and facility supervision.
