We are looking for two Team Leaders for the Learning Delivery Administration team.

The Team Leader, Administration leads a team of Learning Administrators to ensure provision of timely and effective administrative support across the Learning Delivery directorate. This includes support to course offering administration (iQualify), the research office, learner engagement and success services, the education, trades, and health and wellbeing programmes, and across all programmes with regards to results and awards committee reporting.

**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

The role will encompass all day-to-day management of a team, such as workflow, portfolio oversight, induction, coaching, oversight of process improvements, sharing of best practice, PPRs and deskfile and Sharepoint management.

The Team Leader, Administration would retain a workload which includes a significant portion of administrative duties (approximating 0.6FTE) in addition to their Team Leader responsibilities.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Graduate qualification preferred
- Proven team leadership and management experience preferred
- Relevant administration experience with emphasis on customer focus, preferably in a tertiary education environment.

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**
- Cultural capability skills and commitment to implement Te Tiriti o Waitangi as it applies to the education sector
- Ability to successfully lead and manage team members
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to clarify goals and communicate information in all business situations
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility to work with peers in a collegial, constructive manner and the ability to develop common understandings
- Ability to plan and organise own and team member's work
- Ability to develop and refine systems, processes and procedures; strategic and operational planning and implementation ability and experience, and willingness to investigate non-traditional alternatives
- Appropriately developed computing skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite and web browser use
- High level of judgment, flexibility, self-motivation and responsiveness
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Understanding of the current tertiary education sector including knowledge and experience of trends in distance education, open learning and online learning.
