We have an exciting opportunity to join our Geotechnics team based in Christchurch as a Senior CPT Technician. You will work on some unique projects with a great team.

To be successful in this position, you will have a record illustrating a strong work ethic and the ability to deliver high-quality work. You will have a thorough understanding of all types of CPT testing, including seismic CPT's and CPT sampling methods. You will have extensive experience managing projects as well as building and maintaining customer relationships. You will also have strong competency in Microsoft Word and Excel to at least an intermediate level, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

The work is varied and will involve:

- CPT testing, reporting, maintenance and quality control
- Geotechnical field-testing and investigation
- Civil laboratory testing
- Operation of heavy testing and soil sampling equipment
- Monitoring and installation of geotechnical instrumentation including telemetry
- Environmental monitoring
- Project management
- Business development
- Training and supervising technicians

You will need:

- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience working with a wide range of CPT equipment
- Experience installing and monitoring a range of geotechnical instrumentation

The salary range for this role is $60,000-$80,000. The role will guarantee a minimum of 37.5 hours of work per week based in the Christchurch office.
