A major contributor to Beca's success is our Structural Engineering group which continues to go from strength to strength. We have an opportunity for a Senior Designer to join our Building Structures team in Wellington.

Working amongst a group of highly motivated professionals, you will step into an open and supportive culture that values the skills that you can contribute to the group. **Key Elements to The Role**
- Preparing and overseeing the production of drawings for complex projects that comply with company standards, quality systems and project budgets
- Coordinating, control receipt and interchange; and verify all electronic drawings
- Deliver projects from inception through to completion that meet design excellence and quality standards
- Provide technical advice and support to colleagues on structural design principles.
- Effectively communicate design intent to internal and external clients, building strong relationships.
- Contribute to tender and bid proposals, showcasing Beca's design capabilities.
- Continuously improve processes and identify opportunities for project optimisation.

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZD$94,400.00 - $141,600.00, depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A minimum of five years relevant work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and best practices.
