With Operational & Clinical excellence being one of our four strategic pillars, we believe that this is an exceptional opportunity to join us and help drive an organisation that is truly leading the direction of industry change. **Full Job Description** As a Clinical Advisor you will assist our senior leadership team to deliver clinical excellence to achieve successful outcomes for patients, the company, and ultimately the wider industry. Based out of our Auckland office this role will service our North Island Practices. (Excluding Wellington). The expectation is that you will be in the office 3 days a week and onsite the remaining 2 days. **The role** Reporting to the Clinical Director of our Trans-Tasman operations, the role of the Clinical Advisor is to assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical best practice and compliance across our New Zealand network as well as providing ongoing clinical support and advice to the support office functional teams and also to practices. As part of an expanding clinical team trans-Tasman, the Clinical Function will also work to provide a strategic advantage in the industry. **Duties include** - External stakeholder management and communication - Developing and implementing policies and procedural outlines that are consistent with regulatory standards and clinical best practice - Providing advice to practices within the network in collaboration with the operations and the support teams in Australia in delivery of clinical best practice within the organisation - Providing advice to the management team as required in line with the strategic priorities of the organisation - Providing clinical support where required in helping resolve patient concerns, complaints, failed treatment and refunds - Contributing to the development of clinical best practice resources, such as Clinical Best Practice Manuals, Infection Control Manuals, Policy and Procedure Documents etc for use both within Lumino and our sister companies in Australia - In collaboration with the Workplace Health and Safety Officer (WHS), you will be required to assist in the investigation and management of health and safety incidents that have a clinical nature including the management of sharps injuries, and blood and body fluid exposures (BBFE) - Provision of support and input to/from the Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) - a group of clinicians in clinical practice within our network who provide input to the management team on operational activities within the network revolving around various functions within the organisation - Provide input into specific learning and development opportunities within the network to provide clinical support and encourage clinical capability improvement - Provide expert advice on trends & issues that may affect the delivery of dental service - Provision of clinical support to specific innovation projects requiring clinical input and oversight - Provision of clinical support to improve business outcomes for clinicians and practices **Person Requirements** - Bachelors degree of Dental Surgery or equivalent preferred - Registered with the DCNZ and holding an APC - A demonstrable history in compliance and governance preferred - A proven track record of the provision of clinical best practice - A commitment to high ethical, personal and professional standards in all aspects of leadership and clinical work - Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate with our clinical network - Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities - Ability to engage with multiple key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes - Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve program and organisational goals - High level of self-motivation and initiative **So, why work for us?** - Training and development - Emp
