Processing Officer l Permanent Part-Time l Upper Hutt
- 20 hours per week: Monday to Friday 5am to 9am
- $24 per hour paid fortnightly + forklift allowance

As a Processing Officer your role is critical to customer experience in ensuring all mail, packets and parcels get to our customers. It's the role of a Processing Officer to make sure the post gets through our busy processing operation centres ensuring the parcels are sorted, processed and dispatched correctly and that our couriers receive it for delivery on time.

**Hours**:
**Monday to Friday**: 5am to 9am

**In this role you will**:

- Sort our mail into rounds as the main part of this role based in our Upper Hutt Depot
- Dispatch correctly to our couriers to ensure they can deliver on time
- Handle freight in a careful and professional manner
- Liaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and raise issues where required

**To be successful in this role you will need to**:

- have a current forklift endorsement and/ or experience operating a forklift
- Be ready for a physically demanding role - heavy lifting is required
- Be a committed teammate who puts customers first
- Enjoy working hard and be confident managing your time
- Have an accurate eye for detail
- Have good geographical knowledge
