A rare leadership opportunity has become available in our Ultra Luxury Hotel. Reporting to the Director of Operations (“DOO”) you will assume the position of second in command of all Lodge Operations and full responsibility in the DOO’s absence.

**The role involves**:

- Ensuring the ultimate guest experience, through a genuinely warm and personalised service
- Inspiring the highest standards through all core departments of the Lodge
- Effective financial and manning management
- Coaching HoDs and other managers
- Managing logistics and communications around groups and events, ensuring a seamless outcome
- Ensuring an incredible employee experience, including, (but not limited to):recruitment, associate housing, engagement and development.

**About you**:

- A passion for service delivery and hospitality
- Previous (minimum 4 years) senior level experience in 5 Star Luxury Hotels and or Boutique Lodges
- Exceptional Food & Beverage and / or Front Office knowledge
- A commitment to high standards and quality
- A hardworking and co-operative manner
- Excellent management ability and communication skills
- Ability to drive a team and foster team-work
- A developmental and coaching approach
- Understanding of housekeeping & maintenance procedures
- Administrative management experience, including strong financial acumen
- A high level of attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills
- An awareness of developments within the food & lodge industries as well as international trends in hospitality
- A high degree of professionalism
- A natural relationship builder
- Passionate about attention to detail, which is critical in delivering luxury experiences
- Highly self-motivated
- Assumes ownership for their role
- Comfortable and calm working under pressure
