As part of our wider business of over 3,300, our Hamilton office of 150 people from a range of engineering disciplines works out of our offices in the city centre. Our depth of experience and exciting office culture enables our people to impact and play a huge role in the day-to-day life of people in Waikato, New Zealand and even internationally. Our team deliver outstanding project outcomes across the industrial, infrastructure, buildings, water and advisory Business Lines. As our team goes from strength to strength, we are looking for a Junior to Intermediate Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join us

As a team, we directly interface with clients, contractors and vendors to work on a diverse range of projects across New Zealand, Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, you will work across a wide range of clients, industries and focus on electrical and control systems for industrial sites. Every day will be different and expose you to a new challenges, but overall, you can expect:

- Work across a variety of electrical systems and equipment, anything, and everything from 11kV down.
- Design and development of instrumentation and electrical systems, including single-line diagrams; motor-starter drawings; electrical layouts; instrument loop diagrams; cable schedules; PLC I/O schedules to name a few.
- Project management, procurement, and commissioning for existing and greenfield systems.
- Scope/requirements definition and procurement of equipment, software & installation work.
- Detailed design, contractual report writing & construction-related services.

You
- love to learn and share knowledge
- are someone who wants to be part of a wider team
- are an EI&C Engineer with a passion for design and problem-solving with an enquiring mind, ability to problem solve and think laterally.
- ideally have some experience in a similar consultancy, contractor or manufacturing plant environment and you have developed your skills in delivery and are committed to owning quality outcomes, however graduates will be considered.
- are enthusiastic and motivated to continue to learn from your peers and more senior members of the team.
