**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
The Facilities and Workplace Coordinator is responsible for providing professional, customer-focused support services to MBIE staff and the public whilst providing effective facilities management support in the Facilities Team.
Reporting to the Facilities and Workplace Team Leader further duties include:
- Delivery of reception services with a strong customer service focus.
- Managing and supporting general administration duties.
- Organising building maintenance and security access.
- Logging and managing of jobs through the Facilities Management software.
- Building strong relationships with premises occupants and external subcontractors. Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service role providing support to individuals and teams.
- Proven facilities and/or administrative experience.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of people.
- Can do attitude and a high level of initiative and discretion.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritise work to achieve MBIE outcomes
- Proactive and assured customer service skills gained from working in front facing customer-centric roles, balancing both incoming calls and visitors who need your care and attention
