Our Engagement Team are right in the mix of delivering the projects that are making our city stand out in the crowd. Ours is a highly visible role, managing key relationships, gathering and analysing community feedback and reporting results directly to our Elected Members. The variety the role offers is a rarity in this profession. You will work across all council activity to ensure the communities' views are considered when developing a project and as decisions are made.

As the Senior Engagement Advisor, you will lead the development, planning and delivery of large-scale and complex engagement and consultation projects. Use your energy, passion and positivity to drive innovation in how we connect all of our communities to Council decisions that affect them. Step up to leadership and play a key role supporting the Engagement Manager to provide advice and direction to other members of the team.

Your understanding of the Local Government Act will set you up in this role and your political exposure will give you the confidence to get amongst the action. Put your substantial engagement experience, with a wide variety of audiences to good use, in a team that works on challenging and diverse projects every day.

**_ Hours of work: Full-time, fixed term for 12 months to cover paternity leave_**
**_Salary: Will be discussed with the successful applicant_**
**_Location: This position is primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford St_**
