Silver Fern Farms are looking to rapidly scale their global growth and this newly created Marketing Manager position will be a crucial part of that aspiration.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing in this position you will be responsible for developing insight-led global marketing strategies in line with our company’s’ plate to pasture strategy. This will include supporting the strategic extension and evolution of the Silver Fern Farms Masterbrand, designing best in show category and product portfolios in collaboration with the value chain and sales managers. Developing our 3-5-year Marketing Plans whilst championing our market leading sustainability strategy in all parts of our mix.
Take the lead and oversee the implementation of all 5th Quarter marketing and communications activities, support and lead new product development projects globally with key markets being the US, China and NZ. Champion strategic marketing initiatives within key strategic B2B relationships and support the 5th Quarter team with customer-focused marketing and communication strategies and selling materials that differentiate Silver Fern Farms and deliver a clear consistent and unique value proposition.
Drive and develop market commercialisation plans and monitor financial performance to ensure profitability. Evaluate marketing project performance monthly and take corrective action to rectify performance below forecast and budget. Develop and monitor a financial budget for designated area of responsibility.
Our 5th Quarter key product categories include Hides, Skins & Wool; Healthcare - Nutraceuticals & Pharmaceuticals; Offal's & Casings; Meals & Tallow; Pet Food.

**About You**:
Key attributes and experience:

- 5+ years of professional experience in senior marketing roles
- Strong B2B marketing experience, ideally in an international context, across global markets
- Experience marketing technical products and categories desirable
- Able to demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach
- Continuous improvement / growth mindset
- Able to translate ideas into workable concepts
