**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Charge Nurse Manager (CNM) of Endocrine and Diabetes services based at Wellington Regional Hospital, but will involve travel to other areas within the district.
The role provides day to day operations, professional and nursing clinical leadership to the service, ensuring ever higher levels of safe and competent practice. The CNM provides expertise, support and coordination to ensure safe health journeys and better outcomes for people within the service. The CNM has an active role in setting and achieving the strategic direction and priorities for Endocrine and Diabetes service.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to negotiate with key stakeholders in a busy environment.

**Moū - About you**
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Clinical nursing expertise, knowledge and experience. Experience with endocrine and diabetes is desirable
- Essential Professional Qualifications / Accreditations / Registrations
- Expert/Senior Nurse level in Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP)
- Clinical postgraduate qualification, additional support provided to enable Masters completion
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and coaching skills
- Comprehensive knowledge informs NZ Health System understanding including equity issues, professional leadership and emerging issues for the nursing profession

- A strong patient care focus with strengths in sharing that information
- High quality care for the patient and whānau with a strong equity focus
- Ensuring that they follow through on their work to deliver on identified outcomes
