About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic solution provider with a huge range of clients and high-level in-house expertise. We adhere to agile principles and deliver using modern technologies, the latest development tools and practices, and always put customer value first.
Your talent is critical to help us build and develop our QA practice. We are in a growth mode and are looking for senior leaders to join us to manage projects and people. We are looking to you to explore project opportunities, build and implement test strategies, and to lead a team of testers to deliver quality results for our customers.

Great What skills do I need?
Sales focus -While our sales and customer teams help bring in work, you will define and shape the customer’s needs into a deliverable outcome. A good understanding of business needs and technologies is essential to success in this role. You'll have excellent relationship building and management skills as you'll engage directly with the customer to ensure we are delivering and to also create further opportunities. You will also manage the sales pipeline effectively.
People Management and leadership - You will be looking after all elements of managing people, providing strong leadership and mentoring, along with hiring new team members.
Project management - You will have some ability in technical consulting and engaging with technical staff on the client side. A background in development or project management/BA roles is essential to having a good understanding of the SDLC and therefore ensuring projects are managed effectively.
Business Insight - Business practices within Datacom evolve organically and your ability to manage change and be flexible to adapt to different customer requirements and needs will be essential. You'll again use your relationships and strong engagement with the client to grow our engagement and understand their unique business needs. You will demonstrate leadership within your technical area.

**Some of your day-to-day duties include**:

- Developing and championing new and existing services and products within your practice scope
- Developing collateral to support these services and products
- Collating case studies on previous projects
- Developing relationships with our technology partners
- Building your practice’s internal brand within Datacom
- Planning for resourcing, including hiring, developing team skills and assigning work
- Participating in pre-sales relating to your practice

**Your leadership skills and experience will be required for**:

- Providing leadership to team members and representing the project to stakeholders
- Providing technical leadership to team members including demonstrating good practices, standards, creating documentation and performing reviews
- Providing solution designs, estimates and timelines
- Representing your team to stakeholders and taking ownership for outcomes

What you'll bring
You are someone who is self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. You are technically skilled and genuinely interested in technology as a creative pursuit and not just a job. You can demonstrate the ability to learn, pivot and be open to new ideas. A client-focused attitude is a must, along with demonstrated team leadership capability.
