Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for simplifying complex technology landscapes? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Technology & Operations team as a Strategic Change and Communications Advisor for Technology New Zealand (TNZ). This newly created role is designed to establish and maintain a regular cadence of localized change and communications for Technology New Zealand. This role will be based in Auckland, New Zealand but report into a manager based in Sydney, Australia.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our approach to managing and communicating technology transformations. You will streamline and integrate evolving technology messages, elevate stakeholder and employee experiences, and spearhead Change, Communications, and Learning initiatives for major TNZ projects. Your expertise in navigating the impact of change across comprehensive systems and value chains will be crucial in driving successful outcomes. This is an initial 12-month fixed term position.

**What you’ll do**:

- Implement internal and external communication strategies that deepen engagement with our Group and Technology & Operations (T&O) strategies.
- Collect insights on priorities and technology adoption needs to create and execute a cohesive communication strategy that boosts productivity and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive General Manager (EGM) of TNZ to organize engagement forums and produce materials that effectively cascade information.
- Create engaging and informative content that effectively communicates the value and impact of our technology solutions.
- Utilise existing Change Management frameworks and tools to prepare and execute ‘fit-for-purpose’ change, learning and communications plans.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Extensive experience in change management with a deep understanding of communications principles, best practices, and emerging trends and technologies.
- Proven experience working within an agile delivery framework to effectively manage and implement technology and communications projects.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans that align with organizational goals.
- Excellent influencing skills to drive stakeholder engagement and support for communication and change initiatives.
- Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and impactful written content, including reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
