**About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance**

The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system. Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.

**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance works on a major motorway maintenance contract. As the ASM's Network Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for our Corridor Maintenance, Temporary Traffic Management (TTM), and Delivery Optimisation teams, ensuring contract outcomes are met and workflows are synchronised to optimise customer experience. You will champion agile ways of working to ensure we are prepared to respond to any planned or unplanned incidents.

You will have overall accountability for NZGTTM within the alliance, including the approval of risk based TTM activities. As a respected leader within the ASM, you will foster a strong organisational culture, focused on health and safety, collaboration, customer centricity, innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance. You will take pride in developing your team to continuously deliver enhanced customer outcomes.

**About You**:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or relevant industry experience.
- Significant experience in road maintenance and/or operations or related field.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience managing complex maintenance delivery contracts.
- Proven ability to lead a large and diverse workforce.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Sound financial management skills.
- Customer focused with experience implementing customer driven work practices
- Knowledge of and experience within TTM advantageous.
