**Te wero - The Challenge**
We are looking for a Team Leader who values supportive leadership and manages a team with integrity. We need a person with honest work ethic, guiding the team responsible for the review & development of our Council’s strategic and regulatory policies (bylaws). This is a permanent position.
**I ā koe - About you**
You will also need to have the following:
- An understanding of New Zealand's political, economic, cultural and social structures
- Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex issues clearly, accurately, and concisely
- An understanding of the principles of Treaty of Waitangi, and their implications for the work of policy development is
