As the Senior Quality Coordinator, you will play an important role in driving continuous improvement of the food safety and quality management systems for our Meadow Fresh site in Christchurch. A significant part of your role will be to support projects & initiatives aimed at improving quality compliance, reduction in quality costs and best in class quality/food safety performance.

**Other key responsibilities include**:

- Proactively identify where quality management systems require improvement
- Support the implementation of the site quality strategy
- Lead 2 direct reports and provide a work environment that encourages our people to perform and grow to their full potential
- Support timely and routine reporting to regulatory bodies, customers and management as required
- Support compliance with regulatory and customer standards across the quality, good manufacturing practice and food safety systems
- Lead and participate in internal and external audit programmes including the coordination of corrective actions and close out
- Drive the continued implementation and updates of site quality systems to comply with FSSC 22000
- Provide support for quality issues, incidents & customer complaint investigations
- Support the quality team to deliver internal and external quality training requirements (e.g. GMP, food safety inductions)
- Support and provide cover for export product release and market access related documentation as required
- Contribute to quality projects as required

About You
- Proven experience of the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems in food manufacturing
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant working experience (preferably Dairy)
- Relevant Degree in Science / Food Technology
- Advanced HACCP
- Advanced Internal Auditor
