Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist

**CMW Geosciences** (CMW) are a specialist Geotechnical Consultancy with offices in New Zealand and Australia, focusing on the Infrastructure, Energy and Land and Building Development sectors. **Opportunity with CMW Geosciences**
Our Tauranga office are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join our expanding team. You will be managing ground investigations, design and reporting of geotechnical projects with the support of other CMW personnel.
**Furthermore you will**:
- Work with the team to develop, provide and promote technical solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
- Monitor project progress against budgets
- Manage fieldwork and derivation of ground models
- Prepare proposals, technical documents and other correspondence
- Undertake geotechnical design and analyses across a range of landforms

**To be eligible we are looking for the following**:
- Qualified Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 5+ years of experience in working in a consulting engineering environment
- Great project management and people skills
- Demonstrated experience in site investigation and geotechnical consulting projects
- Robust technical skills, eg. slope stability, settlement, liquefaction
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Technical report writing abilities
