**The role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a resourceful person with product data enrichment and category experience to join our Merchandising Team and be based either in Christchurch or Auckland. In this role, you’ll play an integral part in supporting the Category Manager for Bathroom (or Front of Wall) products with the implementation of strategic plans.

Your core function will focus on product support for our branches and a big part of this will come down to both maintaining and delivering key data for your category. Your role will also see you assisting branches with product related inquiries and advising stakeholders on any questions they may have. You will be responsible for managing all product, pricing and promotional information for your category. A big part of this role comes down to accurately updating, maintaining data and working with the Category Managers to use this data for analysis, reporting and the successful implementation of category strategies.

**About you**:
Success in this role is about your customer-centric and solutions-focused approach. You’ll have the ability to seamlessly deliver a great experience to our internal and external stakeholders, through strong communication and reliable service.

Ideally you will be someone who has worked in a similar role where you will have provided category support or co-ordination functions. The key here however will be around someone who has strengths in data management and utilisation - we want someone who is proactive in ensuring that information relating to your category is up to date and correct. You will know your way around a spreadsheet and feel comfortable getting your head around systems pretty quickly and looking for ways to be more efficient. You will also feel confident in exporting data to produce reports which can be analysed to show how the category is performing.

Your communication, organisation and relationship skills will prove invaluable, as you collaborate with internal and external customers. A strong personal and work ethic is essential, as is being IT savvy and previous category experience and don’t forget your sense of humour, as we’ve got a fun team environment
