**About the Role**

Were looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced professional to join our team as a National Data Analyst. In this role, you will help shape our service strategy by delivering expert data analysis, monitoring, and reporting - turning data into actionable insights that enhance patient care and overall service quality.

As our National Data Analyst, you will lead the development of data investigations and reports, ensuring the service benefits from accurate monitoring and regular reporting outputs. You will also function as the superuser for our service-specific clinical database, supporting the effective use of data across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact - using your analytical expertise to drive improvement and innovation in our services.

**About the Team/Service**

Join our dedicated and collaborative New Zealand Familial Gastrointestinal Cancer Service (NZFGCS). We are a national service funded by Health New Zealand. Our multidisciplinary clinical team of Family History Assessors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Gastroenterologists and Colorectal Surgeons identify, assess and manage people with familial gastrointestinal (GI) cancer syndromes. The team also provides education, information and support to families, including medical management advice and a colonoscopy surveillance referral programme.

**About you**

Youre a flexible, proactive, and highly organised professional. You hold a tertiary qualification in science, health, or information management and have experience in medical, oncology, gastrointestinal, genetic, or preferably familial services. Youre skilled in defining data definitions, developing queries, and analysing and visualising data to support evidence-based decision making. You communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. If this sounds like you, wed love to hear from you
