**Overview**

George Weston Foods (NZ) Baking has been locally baking pies for over 50 years now, which means generations of Kiwis have grown up eating our deliciously golden-brown pies and sausage rolls. In the wake of recent market changes the pie & savory portfolio has moved into a phase of rapid growth which is why we’re looking for a courageous brand manager to join our team and take the lead on driving the premium pie portfolio which includes Dad’s Pies and The Baker’s Son brands.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Setting and delivering the strategic direction for the premium pie portfolio including, setting brand plans, optimising brand positioning and full product management
- Define the innovation agenda and manage its projects end to end
- Manage all brand communication, delivering creative that delights kiwi pie consumers and drives sales and brand equity growth
- A native collaborator you’ll work closely with other functions (sales, category, shopper, R&D, operations) leading them to bring all your activities to market
- Managing all stakeholders will be crucial, from briefing external agencies and internal teams, to forecasting, market analysis, reporting on trends and tracking sales
- This role will also support the marketing manager in defining and implementing marketing plans for Big Ben and the wider innovation program

**About You**

If you’re ready for a brand manager role that gives you full brand accountability and the license to unleash the full marketing mix to deliver profitable and sustainable growth, then this is the role for you.
- Hit the ground running with 2 - 3 years Brand Management experience within New Zealand or Australian market, either in FMCG or related industry
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically with a keen eye for detail and strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage and execute projects
- Communication skills are key, from briefing external agencies and internal teams, to forecasting, market analysis, reporting on trends and tracking sales.
- Experience managing new product development projects and using a Stage Gate process.
- Experience in leading agencies in developing advertising campaigns.

- Being comfortable navigating ambiguity and having an agile learning mindset
- Experience activating in route, foodservice, fuel or export channels.
