Trading as Eastened dairy located in broadway, Kaikohe Northland. We are looking for someone who can be on floor during the shift and is ready to help customer and take work load challanges.

**Retail Manager**

We are looking for a full time Retail Manager in our store.

The job duties included but not limited to:
Manage and motivate staff, recruit staff, train and develop staff, according to company policies and employment laws, and ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, discipline, grievance, etc).

Plan, forecast, report on sales, costs and business performance. Determine stock mix, stock ordering

In charge of store budgeting and annual financial report

Plan and implement advertising and promotional strategy and activities.

Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies, at all times with staff and customer safety as the uppermost priority.

Plan and implement shop merchandising, layout and customer traffic flow so as to maximise sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, image and ergonomics for customers.

Manage selling and customer service activities and staff competence in these areas, so as to optimise and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Manage costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the shop.

You must be physically fit, as you may have to load unload stock

Pay rate: $28.00 to $30.00

**Retail Assistant**

Retail sales assistants help customers pick out goods, and collect payment for purchases..
- Greet customers and make them feel welcome
- Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable
- Be attentive to customers, providing answers to any questions
- Make recommendations
- Assist shoppers with merchandise
- Restock items that are running low and maintain proper display appearances
- Assist with inventory counts and placement of new products, including new in-store or window displays
- Handle customer complaints and concerns calmly; find a reasonable solution (calling on a supervisor only when necessary)
- Keep a watchful eye for theft or mishandling of merchandise; act according to company policy
- Ensure customers are well-informed on any current sales, rewards programs, and store return policy
- Process payment by using cash register, credit card machines, and/or POS (point of sale) computer system
- determining customer requirements and advising on product range, price, delivery, warranties and product use and care
- demonstrating and explaining to customers the establishment's goods and services
- selling goods and services
- accepting payment for goods and services by a variety of payment methods and preparing sales invoices
- assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as product inventories and participating in stocktakes
- stacking and displaying goods for sale, and wrapping and packing goods sold.
- Assist store manager in shop opening procedures
- Help customers find items
- Handle payments, deal with customer complaints and issue refunds
