Waitemata District is a major provider of healthcare services in the Northern and Western Districts of Auckland. Our District is growing in many areas and has experienced considerable growth at both its major hospital sites, North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals.
An exciting opportunity has become available at North Shore Hospital for a Senior Registered Nurse. We have a position available for a Charge Nurse Manager, Dialysis Service. This is a fixed term role, backfilling a secondment in a busy environment with plenty of opportunities for you to enhance your leadership and management experience with our support.
If you are an experienced Registered Nurse with professional and clinical leadership skills and post graduate education, we encourage you to apply. You will be responsible for the professional development of staff to ensure they deliver excellence in clinical practice. You will be expected to manage clinical risk and implement new systems and processes to improve patient access to services and achieve quality outcomes for care. We guarantee you will work in a supportive and caring environment with a robust orientation.
Ideally you will be a hard working experienced registered nurse with some leadership experience and post-graduate qualifications. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in general medicine or a specialty practice. Your experience in clinical leadership and contemporary nursing knowledge and passion for developing nurses and delivering excellent patient care will make you stand out from the rest.
