We have an opportunity for an experienced registered or sSenior nurse to join our Community Health Service for a 12-month period covering parental leave. If you are ready to take that next step this may be the opportunity for you.

We are seeking a motivated nurse leader to lead our Otara Community Nursing team. You will enjoy the challenges that leading a team brings, by demonstrating excellence in clinical practice, management, team collaboration and providing high quality nursing care with a commitment to patient focused outcomes in both home and clinic settings.

**Essential Criteria**
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with a Current APC
- Post graduate Diploma working towards Masters (in a relevant area)
- Minimum of 5 years post registration with demonstrated leadership
- Have a proficient,n expert or Senior PDRP portfolio
- Demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing practice to achieve standards
- Experience in Acute Medical/ Surgical, Community and/or palliative care
- Experience in staff management

Our Community Nursing Services provide home visiting and clinic-based nursing care to a wide range of acute and complex care patient care needs within the Counties Manukau District.

The Charge Nurse Manager role is pivotal to our nursing service and will focus on the efficient, effective, and high-quality delivery of care in our Counties Manukau Community Nursing teams.

The CNM role is supported by the Clinical Manager and the Clinical Nurse Director, Specialist Community Health Service. A detailed position description is available on request. The salary for this position is commensurate with the Senior Nurse Scale - Nursing MECA
