**About you and the role**

As a storyteller, you know that our world is built on stories, and some of those stories need replacing. You know how to tell bold new stories that show a different kind of future is possible.
As a communications specialist at Greenpeace Aotearoa, your job is to craft those new stories and to use all available channels to tell them in compelling and strategic ways to large numbers of people, in ways that inspire action.

As an organisation, we have a strong commitment to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi. With words, video and images as our medium, our goal as the Communications and Engagement Unit is to be conscious of who is telling the story, who is behind the camera lens, and whose voices are being heard. Competency in te reo Māori and understanding of te Ao Māori would be an advantage in this role, but not a requirement.

This role is based in Auckland and is a full time permanent position.

You must hold an existing New Zealand work permit to be considered for this role.
