Our Four Square has been serving the Eltham community for decades, and we are proud of the local service we deliver. We are a busy community store and every day is different. You will spend lots of time engaging with our customers and working across all parts of our store - produce, grocery, checkouts and more

About the role.
- Directing, supervising, supporting and leading by example to fill the store, serve customers and maintain our high standard of cleanliness throughout.
- Providing high quality customer service to our valued customers and training to staff do the same.
- Date checks, promotions and markdowns of stock when required.
- Back-end system hygiene

You will also be responsible in assisting our Produce and Grocery departments.

What we require:

- A Duty Manager's Certificate or LCQ is ideal but for the right person we will assist with this.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Great communication skills and an ability to effectively lead a team with a positive attitude and a high level of energy.
- Be mature, assertive and confident with a proven ability to diffuse any difficult situations in a calm manner.
