We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Adviser to join the Transformation, Innovation, People and Culture Group to provide expert advice to drive portfolio management practices, planning and the delivery of the portfolio to a range of stakeholders within Te Pūtea Matua.
Te tūranga - The roleThe Senior Portfolio Adviser is a key role within the EPMO, which sits in the Transformation, Innovation, People and Culture Group. This role will play a vital part in the development of EPMO guidelines, procedures, standards and templates for the planning and management of projects and programmes.In this role you will:

- Lead and provide advice on governance activities and management of projects and programmes in alignment with the Bank's project delivery methodology to project and programme governance groups and Sponsors.
- Work with the relevant business areas to identify, plan and prioritise the portfolio yearly plan to ensure the initiatives are achievable, well defined and quantified.
- Build strong relationships with the Programme and Project Managers to provide service offerings from the EPMO.

Ō pūkenga - About you You will have proven EPMO experience, working organisational wide, to provide deeply considered strategic advice to executives and senior managers. You will pride yourself on your ability to take an organisational view on the initiatives and strategic direction proposals for Te Pūtea Matua.You'll also bring:

- Strong knowledge in identification, management and reporting of Project Benefits and Financials.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience relevant experience in a similar role in a portfolio management environment.
- Proven experience of business process analysis and design.
- Portfolio, Programme and Project (P3) qualification e.g. MOP, MSP, P3O, and Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
