**About the opportunity**:
**Role description**:
As a key member of our Te Aroha team, you'll operate container, flat deck, and curtain sider vehicles with precision and safety. Your role will be crucial in maintaining their commitment to efficient logistics and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Manoeuvring vehicles with loads up to 61 tonnes, utilising HPMV permits.
- Executing professional and safe driving practices.
- Operating various vehicle configurations, including those up to 23 metres in length.
- Ideally able to use forklift, to load pallets, tanks and steel bins.
- Conducting solo and night shift work.
- Handling perishable goods
- Be physically fit for chain work.

**This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities**:

- Class 5 Drivers License
- Minimum 2 years of experience with container, flat deck, and curtain sider vehicles.
- Proficient with HPMV permits and loads up to 61 tonnes.
- Ability to operate different vehicle configurations, including lengths up to 23 metres.
- Use electronic logbook and POD systems.
- Able to use forklift, to load pallets, tanks and steel bins.
- Capable of working independently and during night shifts.
- Physical fitness for chain work and experience with perishable goods.
