**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to and working closely alongside our Construction Manager, you’ll be tasked with working on our many projects, owning the management and coordination. You'll be a natural leader with excellent communication skills. Working to tight timeframes, and closely with our clients, you’ll be forming the foundations of your project to ensure the successful delivery of key milestones. Our sites include brownfield and greenfield electrical substations/switchyards, deep and complex drainage projects and many sites involving in-situ cast concrete and precast concrete buildings and structures.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, budget, oversee, manage and document all aspects of projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to budget
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors and external stakeholders
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
- Update programmes weekly
- Prepare project methodologies
- Collate and reconciliate all project costs against budget on a weekly basis
- Ensure contract compliance is maintained
**ABOUT YOU**
- A relevant construction Degree or Diploma
- Minimum five years experience working on NZ civil construction sites
- Experience in working with concrete structures
- Skills in preparing project methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team unity and client service
- A commitment to all aspects of Health and Safety, Quality & Environmental compliance onsite
