As our Laboratory Supervisor, you are responsible for the effective daily operations and management of the lab resources, staffing, and financial support of the relevant lab department you will be overseeing. By supervising the daily operation of the laboratory to help deliver work for customers safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.

In addition to the above you will:
- Maintain confidentiality on all analysis and testing undertaken and held by the laboratory- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of quality problems within testing- Conduct laboratory machinery checks- Ensure the maintenance of all equipment including calibration- Remain up to date with current specifications, test methodologies, and available technology.- Provide analysis of results for relevant focus area to client- Provide laboratory staff support, motivation and guidance in the form of training and assessments of technicians.- Assist with managing of the costs, revenue, and profitability of the lab department/s you oversee-
- The testing and reporting of all required materials in accordance with the Fulton Hogan Lab IANZ or In-House requirements

We’re looking for someone with:
- Trade qualification in materials testing or similar- Safety-related certification- Civil Construction experience within a Materials Testing environment- Competent understanding of material properties- Minimum 1 year lab experience
