Looking for an automation engineer to join this growing business

**Your new company**
Is an electrical contracting franchise which is operated in the East Tamaki area. The franchise consists of independent franchisees operating nationwide. The East Tamaki franchise is currently engaged in industrial electrical contracting, maintenance, and fault finding. A large portion of our work is in providing electrical and control solutions to the water and wastewater industry.

**Your new role**
This is a salaried position suited to an Automation Engineer. You will be supervising and coordinating the engineering team to ensure all engineering tasks are completed in a timely fashion. You will be developing and maintaining systems and procedures for engineering tasks and commissioning and testing of completed projects. Some contracts will be outside of the Greater Auckland Area.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 5-10 years' experience as an Automation Engineer
- Familiar with PLC, HMI and SCADA programming
- A good understanding of Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, and Wonderwave software would be beneficial
- Comfortable travelling and staying outside of the Auckland region and potentially overseas
- Comfortable working outside standard hours and to be on call every 6 weeks
- Confident and reliable
