**About the Role**

As an experienced nurse, we offer you the opportunity to join our highly motivated and professional team as an Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM) in Te Pae Tiaki |Emergency Department at Wellington Regional Hospital, where we can ensure that there is never a dull day We have an amazing team environment where new skills are learnt daily.

As an ACNM you will be involved with the management of the Emergency Department supporting the Nurse Manager and coordinate the day to day operational management of the department and provide clinical leadership and guidance to staff across all shifts. The Salary is: Senior Grade 2/Step 1.

**About you**

A New Zealand registered nurse, you will have a current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Additionally, you will bring to this role prior experience in emergency nursing. A post graduate qualification in nursing, or study towards this is expected. Awareness of and sensitivity to individual and cultural differences is essential.
- Significant nursing experience in the specialty of emergency nursing
- A post graduate qualification in nursing
- Strong leadership and relational skills
- Supporting management strategies to improve the service
