Kōrero mō te tūranga ' About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic multi skilled Emergency Department (ED) Administrator to join our vibrant team at the Department of Emergency Medicine Wellington Hospital.
This position is critical in supporting the 24/7 service as you will be assisting and supporting all leave requirements, for health and well-being. The importance of keeping the full line rosters operable is to ensure patient flow is maintained at the highest level, along with patient and staff safety.

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Meeting and greeting patients
- Registering all patients presented
- Admissions, discharges and transfers of patients
- Administration support for clinical staff
- Covering the ED Observation WardMō tō mātou rōpū ' About our team

Most importantly, you'll take a lead in customer relationship care, will have the ability to make people feel comfortable and at ease, will be well presented, keen to learn, reliable.
This team and role is diverse and you will be dealing with a range of different people, for which you will have excellent customer focus and empathy skills.
