**Assistant Branch Manager - Palmerston North**

**What does the Assistant Branch Manager do?**

Our Assistant Managers help steer the ship They are ready and able to take the helm when required and happily do so.

They assist the Branch Manager in guiding branch staff and demonstrating what good looks like. They provide quality service to customers through sales and service of products, meet and exceed sales goals be developing long standing customer relationships.

They assist with everything from inwards/outwards, stocktakes, the odd delivery, people leadership to helping customers find the products they need and processing sales.

Your excellent verbal and written communication along with your friendly and warm persona, and keen hunger to learn will see you stand out. Your ability to work efficiently, accurately, and as part of a team will see you succeed in this role.

Your strong background in customer service and sales will enable you to deliver results and exceed customer expectations. Adapting your approach for different customers naturally ensures you consistently put your best foot forward when representing the business.

Experience in a trade wholesale environment will get you off to a flying start, but it is not essential.
