Restaurant Manager Needed in Chinese Restaurant

The Great Restaurant Limited T/A Chow Foo Restaurant has been offering top-level Cantonese and other Chinese cuisine for many years in Pakuranga, Auckland. We now need one Restaurant Manager. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 35 hours per week.
The job involves the following tasks and duties:
- Coordinating the overall operation of the restaurant
- Ensuring the delivery of superior customer services
- Taking reservation and orders, and arrange functions
- Receiving customer feedback and making necessary improvement to the operation of the restaurant
- Converse good understanding in handling problems to ensure smooth operation between the kitchen and restaurant.
- To promote our restaurant in the Asian & Chinese market
- Planning menus and pricing
- Selecting and training new staffs.
- Organizing staff rotation and supervising staff performance
- Estimating consumption, controlling cost and advising on making budget
- Managing stock levels and arranging supplies
- Maintaining records of transaction
- Maintaining a positive working environment
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
To qualify for the job,
No work experience is required, but some prior experience is preferred
Have can-do attitude
Be familiar with utility of social media
Be able to work during evening and weekend shift
