**We are seeking talented, motivated, and innovative Interns to join our dynamic and high-performing team in Auckland for the Summer (Nov - Feb)**
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, engineering and documentation for façade and build-ability consultancy inclusive of detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings, and specifications.
- Reviewing contractor submissions, show drawings and calculations.
- Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques.
- Assisting in preparing tender submissions.
- Liaising and coordinating with the design/project team and other disciplines within Inhabit as required.
**Qualifications**
You will be working towards a **Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structures), Architecture or Architectural Engineering** - with full work rights for Australia.
In addition to this, you will also have:
- An appreciation and strong interest in structural engineering and facade design
- An interest in having an impact on the technical delivery of iconic projects around Australia and New Zealand - and are self-motivated.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Package
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and an interest in understanding how things work;
- Strong organisation and coordination skills to effectively work across multiple projects in a timely manner.
