**About **the opportunity**

Following an internal promotion, we're looking for an **Accounts Payable Team Leader** to join T&G's Finance team in Auckland. This role is focused on people leadership, continuous improvement and projects with real opportunity to make a positive difference and develop your finance career.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leadership of a team of eight Accounts Payable Administrators
- Ensure the smooth operation of Accounts Payable systems and processes
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation, and implement changes
- Responsible for P-Card allocation and management
- Facilitate company training on purchase order and invoice approval processes

This is a hybrid role with a mix of work from home and onsite at our beautiful office space in Ellerslie with free onsite parking and close to public transport links. We also have great coffee, free fresh fruit, and a fun and social team culture.

**About **you**
- Accounts Payable experience within a large company's high-volume AP function
- People leadership experience or the capability to step up into a leadership role
- Continuous improvement mindset to streamline systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to deliver at pace
- Exposure to SAP would be a bonus
