**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Advise on the development and deployment of an enterprise-wide financial crime prevention framework.
- Translate regulatory requirements (AML/CFT, sanctions compliance, FATF guidelines) into effective IT and business processes.
- Ensure the organization meets local and global regulatory obligations across all relevant jurisdictions.
- Guide the implementation and optimization of AML transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and KYC systems.
- Recommend and oversee integration of tools for risk scoring, sanctions list screening (OFAC, UN, EU, HMT, etc.), and suspicious activity monitoring.
- Provide expertise on leveraging AI, automation, and data analytics to reduce false positives and improve detection efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for financial crime exposure across business lines.
- Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews to ensure compliance with AML/CFT standards.
- Provide ongoing training and knowledge transfer to business and technology stakeholders.
- Work closely with management, compliance officers, product managers, and technology teams.
- Liaise with regulators and external auditors, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

**Key Requirements & Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 8+ years of IT consulting or business analysis experience in banking, financial services, or Fintech.
- Proven track record in financial crime compliance projects, including AML laws, KYC frameworks, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening.
- Hands-on expertise in implementing and guiding AML/CTF systems and risk assessment tools.
- Familiarity with global regulatory requirements (FATF, Basel, Wolfsberg Group) and local regulators (e.g., FCA, AUSTRAC, MAS, SAMA, etc.).

**Technical Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of financial crime technology platforms (e.g., Actimize, SAS AML, Oracle FCCM, HotScan, Fircosoft, IBM Safer Payments, etc.).
- Knowledge of integration frameworks, APIs, and data management for financial compliance systems.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to design and implement practical solutions.
- Ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
