**About the role**:
Be accountable for scheduling resources including space allocation and booking processes for Livestock in accordance with production requirements, conditions of service and within business objectives. Supported by the Senior Livestock Allocation Scheduler you will have a sound understanding of agricultural dynamics, across species and seasons, and will work to build strong relationships with Livestock Representatives in regions. This role supports the team covering assigned after hours and weekend work.

Responsibilities would include;
- Action weekly plans from the Livestock Planning Team maximizing capacity, stock priorities, mix balances
- Publish space allocations to Livestock Representatives
- Work to optimise site efficiency through delivery timings, stock type groupings and livestock programme days
- Work to optimise transport loads maintaining high standards of animal welfare
- Manage day to day allocations and booking changes
- Action inter-region stock transfer requests

**What you bring** to the team**:
A solid team player who can recognise when the team needs support and happy to get stuck in. You will present with outstanding communication both written and verbally. Have a keen eye for detail with outstanding prioritisation and coordination skills.
- Sound understanding of livestock scheduling
- Proficient with balancing supply and capacity
- Understanding of compliance requirements in transportation, programme types and livestock documentation
- Capable of following and developing systems and processes
- Flexible with working hours with the ability to work weekends and covering afterhours when required
