Are you an experience Registered Social Worker looking for a permanent part-time position working within a Community Allied Health Service?

Engage Community Allied Health Service employ around 40 staff including Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Speech Language Therapists, and Allied Health Assistants who all work together to achieve the best outcomes for our health consumers. What we are offering you is to become part of a service that cares about their community and their team. Our jobs are very serious and have huge impacts on the lives of others but along the way you will build relationships and comradeship with the team who will support you in your everyday work.

The successful applicant will be expected to work autonomously as well as be part of the wider Interprofessional Team. You will have excellent team work skills, enabling collaborative ways of working with an integrated group of practitioners in a primary care/ community setting. You will have the ability to build relationships with older people and their whānau. You will work with adults 18 years and over with psychosocial issues arising out of long-term health conditions and disability and have a strongly person and whānau centred approach. You will be supported by the engAGE Team Leader and the Social Work Professional Advisor and have the opportunity for CPD and professional supervision.

We are looking for a 'can do' person who has a passion for doing whatever it takes to support our most vulnerable to live their best life. No two days will look the same, there will never be a shortage of work but we will have lots of fun along the way and provide a great team spirit.
