**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The Evidence, Research and Clinical Trials business unit has been established to increase equitable access to evidence and research across the organisation and the wider health sector to improve health outcomes for all New Zealanders.
The Te Whatu Ora Library and Knowledge services unit enables and facilitates access to resources and services to inform and support evidence based care and evidence informed decision making.
The primary purpose of the Teamer Lead roles are to provide people leadership for Library and Knowledge Services' staff. Managing a cluster of Library Managers and Sole Charge Librarians across the motu, you'll spearhead the efficient operation of our library network and play a leadership role in transforming models of library service provision and supporting your team through the change process.
Your role will be instrumental in facilitating the development and implementation of national programmes within the Library and Knowledge Services space and will require close collaboration with networks to support integrated and effective national programme delivery.
**There are 3 part-time roles available. These roles are permanent, part-time roles, with the possibility of flexing up to full-time on agreement with the Group Manager.**
**Mōu | About you**
Providing operational support to the Group Manager, Library and Knowledge Services, you will lead staff recruitment and professional supervision and development, workload management and embrace news ways of working to improve efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery of your team.
You will foster a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment ensuring high-quality service delivery, collaborating with other Team Leads, and supporting the Group Manager in providing strategic direction.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including academic institutions and internal teams is an important component of the role and you will excel in relationship building and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

- Leadership experience (including thought leaders), including designing and managing a portfolio of work, and leading resources/teams.
- An ability to demonstrate skills in developing and maintaining effective internal/external relationships and partnerships (that are) essential for achieving sustainable outcomes.
- Experience contributing to strategies, including planning, prioritising, delegating and organising work to deliver on short and long-term objectives across the breadth of the position.
- Extensive knowledge of library operations, information retrieval and research methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge and experience working in a research environment within the health and biomedical sector or similar.
- A qualification in an area relevant to library services or comparable experience working at a management level.
