RD Petroleum is a leading distributor of fuel and oil products throughout the South Island providing fast, reliable fuel and support to rural, farm/ agricultural, commercial and retail customers. A progressive company with a reputation for professionalism, service excellence and commitment to customers, their tankers are operated from bases in Nelson, West Coast, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin and Invercargill and due to growth, they now have an opportunity for a new Fuel Scheduler to join the team.

Based in Christchurch and reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will work with a range of stakeholders including the rest of the Operations Team, Fuel Delivery Drivers, Territory Managers, Business Consultants, external suppliers and existing and prospective customers. You will be the first point of contact for all customer phone enquiries relating to bulk fuel deliveries and will allocate orders for appropriate delivery. You will check and verify the previous day’s fuel delivery work on a daily basis, input data into the current dispatch system, optimise the utilisation of the fleet to deliver bulk fuel safely and profitably to both internal and external customers and much more.
