**We are looking for a dedicated and committed Delivery Drivers, both class 1 and 2, to join our fast paced and busy Christchurch Branch located at Cumnor Terrace, Woolston.**

THE JOB:

- Deliver goods according to customer orders.
- Plan the most efficient delivery route for the assigned deliveries.
- Unload goods at destination in the appropriate place in a timely manner
- Gather any signatures, cash on delivery or credit returns required.
- Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirement
- Perform daily checks - oils, coolant, WOF etc.
- Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required.
- Assist in loading the trucks
- Help team in picking/dispatching at the need.

Days & hours of work:

- Immediate start
- Monday to Saturday, 5.00 am to 2.00 pm (approx.)
- 8 hour shifts/ day (approx.).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The person we are looking for will be able to work unsupervised to achieve results.
You will have
- full Class 1 or 2 drivers licence, manual required
- Have clear communication skills.
- Also would have reasonably good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Be confident, flexible and have attention to detail.
- Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
- Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kgs.
- Have a great attitude towards work and be fast learner.
- Possess good organizational and time management skills.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Have reliable attendance and transport.

THE COMPANY:
Service Foods is a New Zealand wide company specialising in Food service. We supply to cafes, restaurants, hotels, manufacturers, retailers, distributors and exporters nationwide with a broad selection of imported and locally manufactured food products.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
