**About the role**
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance you will own responsibility for two regional portfolio’s, where you lead un providing insightful analysis, lead performance reporting, and drive effective budgeting and commercial business outcomes to support the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Analyst with proven track record of operating at senior level with strong technical and stakeholder skill sets and who is looking for a career progression pathway to a Commercial Finance Manager role within a global healthcare organisation. You will need proven, strong stakeholder skills for this role.
**Where you’ll make an impact**
- Stakeholder relationships with senior leaders.
- Support the Head of Commercial Finance to drive financial and commercial outcomes on critical business initiatives.
- Drive performance against key financial metrics through initiatives which enhance results and bridge gaps.
- Bringing a financial and commercial lens to cross functional priorities as a finance leader.
- Utilise the data warehouse, PowerBI and other relevant systems to develop and present insightful analysis.
- Partner with Operations Managers and General Managers to bring your analysis to life and develop recommendations for performance improvement.
- Review month end results and provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis across diverse business units.
- Lead the independent financial review of business cases and modelling, with a specific focus on the key financial metrics for new and redevelopment capital spend.
**About you**
- Finance / Business degree, preferably with post graduate qualifications (MBA, Masters etc.
- CFA or CA / CPA qualifications.
- Minimum of 8-10 year’s professional experience in Finance/Accounting, ideally with experience within a large, complex organisation.
- Sound business acumen, analytical and financial management experience.
- Proven ability to build complex financial models in Excel using generally accepted financial modelling best practices.
- Ability to build complex PowerBI models leveraging data warehouse and ad hoc inputs, using generally accepted modelling best practices preferred.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure, and responsive to organisational contingencies as they arise.
- Demonstrable stakeholder skills including up to executive leadership team level.
- Ability to explain and present financial information to non-financial people.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Drive and ambition to progress your career through results.
