Support Worker

We are looking for someone to join our North Shore team as a Support Worker in Orewa. There are full and part time options available.

This is a fun and outgoing team so it would suit someone of the same nature who has an interest in caregiving or nursing. Every day is different, and you need to have a flexible approach with the right attitude. You will need to be able to communicate clearly with the people we support and their families.

This is stimulating and meaningful work where you can be creative and make every day interesting in ways that are important to others. Part of your day may include showering, administering medication, and dealing with challenging behaviour, but the rewards are amazing. You will also be transporting and supporting people out in the community.

Ideally, you will have some experience in the health and disability sector, but if not, we would still love to hear from you if this is a career you want to pursue and you have the right 'can-do' attitude.

**Requirements**:

- Flexibility to work on the weekends
- Have a Full NZ drivers' licence or be able to gain it within 3 months
- Pass a full New Zealand Police check
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
- Good written and verbal communication
