**About the role**

Come and join our future-focused Finance Operations Team responsible for delivering best in class back-office support across Foodstuffs North Island and its member network

This role offers an opportunity to provide dedicated payroll support to specific store/s and own the end-to-end payroll process of assigned stores. You will build a trusted relationship with the store owner/operator through providing best practice customer service, specialist advice and support.

**This role will provide a ton of variety and challenge Some of the responsibilities will include**:

- Process the end to end payroll for the centralised stores
- Roster Management within PayGlobal
- Respond to queries and reporting as requested
- Preparing and delivering payroll reports to stores on a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and regulations
- Assist with training and support for the stores as required
- Act as a reliever for other Centralised Payroll Specialist as and when required

**About you**

We are seeking a doer, capable of speedily delivering high volumes of quality work, yet also be flexible and able respond to incoming requests.

You will have a strong track record in Payroll preferably in medium to large enterprises. Ideally you will have experience in a retail, or customer focused organisation and have a minimum 2+ years’ experience working with PayGlobal.

SAP experience is also highly advantageous. A strong understanding of the NZ Holidays Act, Employment legislation and general payroll practises, including PAYE, ACC, Parental Leave is essential.
