**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced Project Controls Specialist to join our national team and be responsible for implementing and operating project controls for programmes and major projects, working closely with project managers and junior specialist scheduling resources to build project controls capability.

You will be involved supporting the Project Controls function on new and existing projects, maintaining program and project master schedules, developing construction programmes and methodologies and providing detailed analysis reporting.

You will assist in the continued development of AECOM's Project Controls function and keep up to date with industry best practice to ensure AECOM practice maintains world-class status.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will be a results-driven project controls specialist who can demonstrate:

- Appropriate tertiary qualification
- >10 years professional experience in the construction or civil infrastructure industry, with a mixture of site and office construction management and programming/planning
- Experienced user of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
- Production of Project Control Systems and processes
- Experienced in monthly reporting - Experience in power BI is an added advantage
- Experienced with resource and cost loaded programmes (Earned Value Management)
- Previous experience in managing integrated schedules and EPPM.
- Competent in systems: Project Management tools, MS office suite
- Working knowledge of NZS3910 & NEC4
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to develop relationships
- Ability to coach, mentor and provide training to project stakeholders
- Have an in-depth understanding of the construction sector and all of its components
- Ability to work in both a team and autonomous environment
