**The Opportunity**

We have a new CRM platform, we have a lot of great customer data and now we need a Senior Marketing Analyst to provide analytical support to the marketing team to make good business decisions We are wanting to gain an in-depth understanding of our data, create insights and develop great customer marketing strategies to increase customer value and satisfaction.

As a member of the GXH Marketing team, reporting to the GM Marketing, the Customer Marketing Analyst will support the General Manager Marketing, the Loyalty Programme Manager, and the Marketing Managers in achieving agreed marketing objectives, including customer growth. The senior analyst will work with the marketing team to drive strategic insight for the business by analysing the key marketing metrics, analysing marketing programmes and performance, identify gaps in the planned programme, and create compelling, data-based proposals to fill those gaps.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing timely, accurate and actionable information and insights regarding customer profiling, propensity scores, segmentation analysis/migration, campaign performance and market research to support the development and refinement of marketing strategies to maximize the return on marketing investment.
- Provide descriptive analysis to analyse the past to understand what happened, why and what drove the results.
- Provide data visualization to create clarity through clean, professional visualizations that make complex ideas easy to understand.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer behaviours and work to integrate new techniques and insights based on historical customer data.

**We are looking for**:

- Tertiary - Marketing or Business with a specialization in data analytics.
- Strong analytical background with a focus on digital marketing a plus, with a creative, and innovative approach to solving open-ended problems.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and high comfort level with programming, including SQL. 3+ years of analytics experience, 2+ years of experience in a quantitative or technical work environment
